This set of charts and maps of Washington D.C. was created in Fall 2025 for my Principles of Geospatial Computing course (GEOG 5541) at the University of Minnesota. The charts show the changes in crime counts per day and by offense, while the maps show the crime count and percentage change of crimes 100 days before and after the mobilization of the National Guard.

 

This project was featured as a lightning talk at the 2025 Big Ten GIS Conference.
